Within the last 30 days, there have been several major truck accidents involving Pennsylvania drivers. These accidents occurred on major highways such as I-95, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, etc.

Truck Accident on the PA Turnpike

Last month, a trash truck overturned on the Pennsylvania Turnpike during the middle of the week, late morning. The trash truck overturned after passing through a toll booth. All westbound lanes of the turnpike were shut down for roughly 3 hours. The truck driver suffered some facial lacerations, but was otherwise uninjured.

PA Truck Driver Killed in Tractor Trailer Roll Over Accident in NY

Also last month, a Pennsylvania truck driver from Lemoyne, PA was killed when his tractor trailer rolled over on him. The truck driver had pulled over to the right shoulder of the road. The tractor trailer rolled forward, onto the driver, killing him. The accident occurred on the New York State Thruway, near Albany.

PA Woman Hit by Tires From Tractor Trailer

In early October, an Orefield, Pennsylvania, woman was injured in an accident near Allentown. The accident occurred when tires on a large tractor trailer detached, bounced into the other lanes of traffic, and struck the woman’s small SUV. The woman was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
