National Center on Sexual Exploitation Honors Laffey, Bucci & Kent with Civilian Leadership Award

Leading Philadelphia personal injury law firm recognized for efforts to obtain justice for survivors of sexual harassment and assault

PHILADELPHIA (June 2019) – Personal injury law firm Laffey, Bucci & Kent is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Civilian Leadership Award by the National Center on Sexual Exploitation, in honor of the firm’s work seeking justice for survivors of sexual harassment and assault.

The award was presented at the 2019 Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation Global Summit on June 13. The annual conference is designed to help strengthen the movement to oppose all forms of sexual abuse and exploitation.

Laffey, Bucci, & Kent was chosen to receive the Civilian Leadership Award in recognition of the firm’s work on behalf of survivors of sexual harassment and assault. Their efforts regarding lawsuits against Massage Envy were noted in particular; the firm represents more than 20 women who allege that they were sexually assaulted at a Massage Envy location.
