Philadelphia personal injury lawyers discuss litigation and coverage of sexual abuse

Kent will moderate the panel discussion “Trends in Sexual Abuse Litigation and the Status of the Litigation,” which will cover such topics as statute of limitations, voluntary dismissal of peripheral defendants, joinder of perpetrator, and current and breaking litigation against online platforms.
D’Andrea will participate in the panel discussion “Damages in Sexual Misconduct Cases,” which will address the experience of victims in the tort system and the factors which contribute to settlement values
As a former sex crimes unit prosecutor, Kent is a passionate advocate for justice for all crime victims. He has nearly 16 years of legal experience specializing in representing survivors of abuse, assault, and exploitation. Kent has handled several high-profile cases, including representing survivors of former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, and survivors of abuse at the hands of Catholic priests.
D’Andrea is an experienced high-profile criminal and civil trial lawyer who has litigated more than 100 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. He regularly handles cases nationally involving sexual and physical assaults in institutional settings including boarding schools, residential treatment facilities, hospitals, universities, sports organizations, day care centers, and schools.
