Cordless Drills Recalled Due to Fire & Burn Hazard

Last month, the Consumer Products Safety Commission recalled over 100,000 cordless drills. These power tools were manufactured in China and imported by Harbor Freight Tools of California. They were sold at Harbor Freight Tools stores across the country in 2008 through May 2012.

The drills were recalled due to a potential for overheating of the trigger switch, posing a fire/burn hazard to users. The company received one complaint of a drill overheating and burning through the handle
