Brian Kent files federal lawsuit against Millersville University, a fraternity and other parties for the murder of Karlie Hall, an 18 year old student. The legal claims include violation of federal laws and state laws, as well as negligence. The legal complaint alleges that Hall was murdered because agents of the school had knowledge of, or witnessed prior acts of abuse by Hall's boyfriend but failed to take any action. Hours before she was murdered, a school agent knocked on Hall's dorm room door in response to complaints of loud banging and cries for help, but turned away after hearing nothing while standing at the door.
