Lauren Stram is a former Philadelphia prosecutor and experienced trial attorney. Lauren earned her law degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law where she was a Law Faculty Scholar.
During law school, Lauren was an accomplished member of Temple Law’s renowned National Trial Team. While on the Trial Team, Lauren competed nationally in trial advocacy competitions, and was a Regional Champion in the Texas Young Lawyer’s National Trial Competition. Lauren won several academic awards including the Barrister’s Award in Trial Advocacy, The Center for Forensic Economic Studies Excellence in Litigation Award, and Outstanding Oral Argument.
Prior to joining Laffey, Bucci, & Kent, Lauren served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where she was assigned to the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit and Major Crimes Unit. Lauren tried to verdict dozens of bench and jury trials involving serious felony cases such as sexual assaults, child sexual and physical abuse, domestic violence, and non-fatal shootings.
As a prosecutor, Lauren led trainings for new Philadelphia Police Cadets on courtroom policy, criminal procedure, and trial testimony. Lauren also conducted trainings for new Assistant District Attorneys on the issue of Corpus Delecti.
Recently, Lauren returned to Temple Law as a Trial Team Coach, where she helps second and third year law students hone their trial advocacy skills.
