We’re Investigating Child Molestation at Kidz, Ink 2 in Bear, Delaware

The school sex abuse victims’ lawyers at LBK are currently investigating child molestation at a day care in Bear, Delaware, south of Newark. Last year, a former employee, 21 year old Anthony Rodriguez, pled guilty to child sex abuse charges after he was caught on video engaging in misconduct with a young boy. There are 3 known victims so far.

Last month, Rodriguez was sentenced to 12 years in prison. He was convicted of sexual solicitation of a child and second-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person in a position of trust. When released from prison, Rodriguez will be placed on probation and also have to register as a sex offender.

The day care at issue in this case is Kidz, Ink, 2. According to the day care center’s website, Kidz, Ink has 6 locations across Delaware. The case against Rodriguez involved the Bear, Delaware location on Porter Road.

According to an online news report, parents have expressed frustration that they weren’t told about the case against Rodriguez.  Many parents indicated they only learned of the case through the news. According to the report, the owner of the school stated that he was just following advice from law enforcement.
