The magazine is an annual publication of Thomson Reuters, an international organization which specializes in legal business solutions.
The Super Lawyers publication is essentially a rating service of the top lawyers in select practice areas, including personal injury, criminal, family, etc. Less than 5% of all lawyers in a given state are selected as Super Lawyers, and less than 2.5% of lawyers are selected as Rising Stars.
